To
download a cycling route (marked with blue arrows) from
Newbury railway station to the Showground click
here. Fixed railings will be provided in the Orange car parks for securing bikes. You will
need to bring your own locks. A regular bus service
will operate from Thatcham and Newbury to the Showground.

Parking for the disabled is available adjacent
to the Newbury Building Society Gate (the entrance to the
west of the Showground).
Event Mobility Charitable Trust will be providing electric scooters and manual wheelchairs for the use of disabled, elderly and mobility impaired visitors to the show and will be located within the Showground
by the Newbury Building Society Gate and by the Chapman
Gate..
To reserve an electric scooter or manual wheelchair either print out an advance booking form from their website www.eventmobility.org.uk or contact the office on 01386 725391 to request a form to be posted to you. Please be aware that advance bookings cannot be made by phone.

The charity operates entirely from the generosity of donations and any further contribution would be greatly appreciated.
Please note that some areas of the Showground can be bumpy
and uneven, so please take extra care when walking or travelling
around.
There
are plenty of different places to eat in the show ground.
Whether these be in the Food Fare tent on Avenue A where
you can purchase some wonderful produce from the 80 or more
exhibitors, or from one of the mobile catering areas situated
around the show where you can find fish and chips, burgers,
hot dogs, ice creams and drinks.
If you want to go up market you can become an annual member
and eat in the Members Restaurant. For more information

The
family trail will invite children and their parents to enjoy
the best bits of The Royal County of Berkshire Show with
a chance to win some fabulous prizes! The family trail will
allow children as young as five and up to sixteen years
old, to compete for awesome prizes while enjoying their
experience at The Royal County of Berkshire Show 2009. Pick
up your free family trail at the gate as you enter the show.
